Panda Eyes is an Original Acrylic Painting on velvet.

This beautiful original painting, Panda Eyes, uses stretched velvet over canvas as a support. This provides an especially dark background against which the painted detail stands out brightly. The painting is supplied in a classic flat black box frame, to finish and complement the picture, and without glass to reveal the natural lustre of the fabric.

The framed picture is also supplied complete with fixings and cord so it’s ready to hang just as soon as you pick the right spot.

Panda Eyes is painted with chroma colour acrylic paint which does not need varnish to prolong it’s lifespan. The nature of the fabric means it will need to be wiped occasionally to remove dust (a slightly wetted finger is particularly good for this, or a lint roller). The Panda  would prefer to live somewhere that’s not too hot or sunny because he’s already quite warm wearing all his fur. Pandas also like a bit of shade – they come from coniferous forests and prolonged direct sunlight can cause them to overheat and become irritable or just fade!
